February 2023

Give yourselves a pat on the back, Events Week is officially wrapped! The past

week has been busy and hectic, but also incredibly invigorating! It's been

awesome to hear all the different people we've chatted to, and how people are

eager to hear more. Friends that were invited along have also felt encouraged

and welcomed to come to church with us today, which is amazing!

There were so many incredible and strong conversations happening

throughout the week with people from many different backgrounds. There

were also a lot of people from Small World Cafe that came throughout the

week and overall, it's been super encouraging to see how the f riendships

we've cultivated over the past couple days, weeks and months can lead

people to Christ.

Starting next week, we're running the Alpha course, which is incredibly exciting

as a follow up to Events Week. Let's pray that those whose spirits have been

roused come and ask those important questions about Christianity: and

ultimately coming to accept Jesus as their Saviour!Thank you so much for your support and prayers over the last couple days!

Please keep praying for those people we met this week. Pray also for the CU,

that despite Events Week being over, we are still filled with that same

joyous spirit and fire to share the Gospel with the people around us. Jesus is

not to be contained in a box, or in our little bubble: we want to keep sharing Him

to everyone around us.

In general CU news, Spring Term is looking busy! Like I mentioned earlier, Alpha

is running every Wednesday. In April, we're heading up to Word Alive, a

Christian conference where we're going to spend a week together, worshipping

and getting to know more about Jesus. It's a wonderful time, and a great

opportunity to deepen our friendships! Please do pray for our transport to

Wales, as there are quite a few of us going, and not many ways of getting

there! Committee handover is also going to be happening soon, so if you

could please pray for wisdom and peace for those who have been nominated

for different roles in the CU, and for a smooth transition (Winchester

University has also just had their handover, so do please keep their new

committee in your prayers!).

Once again, thank you for your support. If you feel encouraged to and would

like to support us financially, please do see our details at the bottom of the

page. As we don't get funding from the university, we rely on donations and

generosity to keep running events.

Until next time, friends!
